When you’re looking to buy a car, test driving is usually pretty uneventful.
But every once in awhile, something unusual happens.
Like this surprising test drive story:
A couple wanted to test drive an S500 Mercedes, so the salesperson let them take the car out alone.
When the couple returned the car, they said that the “check engine” light had come on and that they were no longer interested, then left.
When the dealership’s service techs opened up the hood, they discovered that nearly $2,500 worth of parts had been removed! Turns out, the couple needed the parts to fix their own S500 at a repair shop not far from the dealership.
