Is a Jeep Wrangler Hybrid in the Pipeline?

For decades, off-road enthusiasts have made the Jeep Wrangler their model of choice, and many have been anticipating a new addition to the Wrangler lineup.

In the areas of performance and efficiency, “hybridization could actually help Wrangler,” said Head of Jeep Brand Mike Manley in a recent interview with Autoblog. The popular Jeep model is due for an upgrade in the 2018 model year, so we shouldn’t be waiting much longer for information on new technologies and features.

Even with the changes, Manley stated that the new Jeep Wrangler will not compromise its iconic status within the Jeep brand.
